The IA Practicum is a 4-week course in market analysis and practical trading using the Initiative Analysis (IA) method.
IA is a simple way to understand who drives price movement on the chart and to identify areas where trades are truly justified.

What is IA
Initiative Analysis is a method of reading the market through the initiative of buyers and sellers:

• Predicts which side of the market (buyers or sellers) is likely to dominate — initiative forecast (who controls the price).
• Calculates the target within the initiative — target forecast (where the price is heading).
• Defines context — key levels, candles, zones, and false breakout patterns.

Format and Structure

• Duration: 4 weeks (1 module per week)
• Start date: upon group formation
• Tools: TradingView, proprietary IA Pro indicator for TradingView (includes educational license), private Telegram group.

How the Practicum Works

• Analyze the real market and practice on historical data
• The indicator handles all the routine: it automatically highlights key market structures so you can focus on interpretation and application
• Each week includes three stages:

— Learn: study videos, notes and explore real market examples
— Clarify: post your questions and get personal feedback from the instructor in the private group
— Practice: apply new knowledge on real charts, analyze your trades and complete your homework assignments

• Homework can be submitted as notes or short video recordings (screen capture with your voice comments). This format helps you retain material better and simplifies feedback.

Module 2. Candles and Zones — effort сandles, key initiative candles, buyer/seller zones (automatically highlighted by the indicator)
Module 3. Patterns and Trades — false breakouts, building trading scenarios (main and alternative), timeframe alignment, risk management

1. Can I use the indicator with the free version of TradingView?
Yes, it works on all timeframes, but the replay function (historical scrolling) is only available on the daily timeframe (D1). A Basic subscription unlocks replay on hourly charts — more effective for practice.
2. How do I record homework videos? Is it difficult?
It’s simple — use any free screen recorder (Loom, OBS, Xbox Game Bar on Windows, or built-in Mac tools). What matters is your analysis logic, not video quality.
3. What if I’m shy or afraid of making mistakes?
Mistakes are normal! The Practicum is designed to support learning in a friendly, growth-oriented environment.
4. Is this method only for crypto trading?

No, the IA method is universal — suitable for crypto, stocks, indices, and forex. The main requirement is that the asset must be liquid.
